Polar Flow integration with FitnessSyncer FAQ

What kinds of data can I read or publish to Polar Flow?

You can read the following data types from Polar Flow:

  • Activity including Map, Heart Rate, and other Analytics
  • Body Composition

You cannot publish any data to this service at this time.

How do I get started with Polar Flow and FitnessSyncer?

The easiest way to get started is to follow our Getting Started Guide, which will walk you through how to exchange data between Polar Flow and many other services!

Are you looking to get more out of our Polar Flow integration? Check out our How It Works, which will walk you through how to unlock the full power of FitnessSyncer.

My Polar Flow source does not have any data; why?

Unfortunately, Polar only provides us data from when you start the connection. They presently do not have the ability to acquire historic items automatically.

Can I get more data from Polar?

Yes, you can export your data from account.polar.com as a ZIP file. Once you have the file, unzip the file, and you can import the files individually, just uploading them to FitnessSyncer Notebook. If you need assistance, please contact us.

Nothing happens when I click Sync on my Polar Flow Source; why?

Our Polar integration works a little differently from our other services in that we centrally pull your data periodically behind the scenes because of the way that their system is structured. We apologize for the inconvenience.

My activities have the wrong time; how can I resolve this?

Please make sure that your time zone is correctly entered in your profile. If it is still not imported correctly, please contact us.

What about Polar Flow Sleep Metrics?

We’re still working on this to make it more useful.
